My First iMovie Trailer: Why Choose Kansas State University College of Education

I was pleasantly surprised when using iMovie! I was prepared for it to be another difficult and confusing app, but thankfully it was not. iMovie is very user friendly and simple, yet it still is able to produce a great product. There are also a lot of great resources and tutorials available that teach you how to use iMovie, which are really helpful.
I am excited to use iMovie in my own classroom in the future. A result of this app being super user friendly is that it would work great in any grade level or even any subject. The possibilities for incorporating this app within the classroom are endless! iMovie could be used to help students review information. They could make a movie going over certain content and then watch some of the movies their peers made as well. This would be a creative way for students to study and collaborate with others. It could also be used as a creative assessment tool. Students could complete something like a research project and present their information using iMovie instead of the conventional research essay.
Fun ideas on how to incorporate iMovie into the classroom keep popping into my head! This is really a great app that has numerous ways to differentiate classroom learning. I definitely plan on using iMovie in my future classroom!
